Job Description
We are seeking a General or Pediatric Dentist for a locum tenens position in Pocatello, ID. This is an outpatient clinic opportunity serving an underserved pediatric patient population in a well-supported, high-volume practice. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide 100% pediatric dental care for patients under age 21
- Perform pediatric procedures including stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, fillings, and sealants
- Perform both operative dentistry and hygiene checks throughout the day
- Manage a high patient volume of approximately 30 patients per day
Qualifications
- Active dental license, or willingness to obtain licensure
- Active Medicaid Provider ID (or application submitted)
- General Dentists must have recent pediatric clinical experience
- Comfortable with all pediatric clinical procedures
Working Hours
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Scheduled coverage days
- No call
