Pediatric Dentist / General Dentist (Sole Provider) | West Monroe, LA

A thriving pediatric practice in West Monroe, LA is seeking a dedicated dentist to step in immediately for a 3-month assignment with a strong potential to extend. This clinic provides essential dental care to local children and adolescents in a welcoming, community-oriented environment, filling an immediate opening left by a departing provider.

The practitioner will operate as the sole provider on-site, fully supported by a streamlined team consisting of one hygienist and two Expanded Duty Dental Assistants (EDAs).

The Role:

• Location: West Monroe, LA 71291
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, with a shortened Friday shift.
• Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Patient Volume: 20+ patients per day, including hygiene exams.
• Clinical Scope: Standard bread-and-butter pediatric dentistry, including hygiene exams, stainless steel crowns (SSC), fillings, and simple extractions.
• Tech Stack: Eaglesoft charting software.
• Preferred Skills: Comfort treating pediatric patients, adolescents, and young adults up to age 21.
• Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage. Travel, lodging, and mileage reimbursement are available if necessary (local candidates requiring mileage only are preferred).

What is Needed:

• Credentials: Active Louisiana Dental License, DEA, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Onboarding: Efficient 1–2 week fast-track onboarding and credentialing.
• Practice Fit: An autonomous General Dentist or Pediatric Dentist who is highly comfortable managing a pediatric caseload as the sole clinician in the office.
