Job Description
Travel Dental Hygienist - For Yates, ND with Indian Health Facility
Specialty: Dental Hygienist
Client: Indian Health Service
Location: Fort Yates, ND (and possibly McLaughlin, SD at times)
Dates: coverage is needed: as soon as onboarding is complete (typically takes 3-4 weeks to process after background forms are submitted) – 3 month minimum commitment required
Schedule/Shifts Times: Fort Yates, ND: Mon - Friday, 8-5; if needed, McLaughlin, SD: Monday – Friday, 8-5p
Call Requirements: None
Patient Volume: 5-6 patients per day average
Patient Ages: all ages (majority adults)
Support Staff: yes – Dentists, DA’s
Type of Charting: EMR – RPMS (Dentrix)
Requirements: BLS, Active License with no restrictions, RDH only
Reason for Need: staff shortage
Onboarding Timeframe: 3-4 weeks on average once background forms are submitted. Would like someone for 3 months with the option to extend.
Additional Info: *** any State License ***, will perform SRP’s if required per patient treatment plans, not required to administer local anesthesia but can if their license allows.
- All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times
