Permanent Dental Hygienist Opportunity – Allentown, PA

We’re seeking a Dental Hygienist for permanent placement in Allentown, PA. If you’re looking to give back to the community and a supportive environment, working in a high-producing office, this could be a great fit!

Dates: ASAP – ongoing

Schedule: Mon–Thurs | 8:30a–5p w/ lunch

Pay: Based on experience; $40-$45

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3-4 days/week, Clinic is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am–5pm; ASAP start date
• Patients: All ages possible
• Facilities: 8 operatories; PAN (x ray machine that takes a 3d x ray of the mouth), 4 Nomad machines
• Clinical Scope: Comprehensive dental hygiene — plan and provide care for a diverse patient base
• Support Staff: Depending on day, 1-3 full-time dentists onsite, 4+ DAs, and 2-3 experienced DHs

Required Skills:

• Registered Dental Hygienist with an active Pennsylvania License
• Follows ADHA Professional Code of Ethics
• Two years dental office experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a community health center or FQHC preferred
• Dental practice management software experience helpful
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (can be completed upon hire)
• Participate effectively as a team player
• Digital radiography experience a plus
• Excellent reading, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to speak a second language helpful
• Ability to interact professionally, patiently and courteously
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced clinic
• Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image
• Ability to come to work on time and on a daily basis
