We have an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Specialty Operations to join our growing team. This is a new position created to develop and implement specialty operations into our markets in TN, AL, and KY. It is a role that is both development and operations in nature to facilitate direct operational results of specialty services in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Endodontics, and Hygiene. This position will be based at our Practice Support Center in Nashville, TN and will require travel to our practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct an analysis and develop a strategic plan to introduce Specialty Operations into practices resulting in revenue growth.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement systems and procedures that facilitate the growth of Specialty Operations.
- Assist the regional operations team and doctors with on boarding of Specialists and the implementation of Specialty services in a practice.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with General Dentists and Specialists.
- Analyze key metrics and recommend addition or subtraction of Specialty services or days.
- Actively participate in the recruitment of Specialty Dentists through sourcing, attending events, networking, and other means necessary to partner with Operations Management and Recruiting to appropriately staff Specialty Operations.
- Coach the Operations teams on effective consultations.
- Develop and conduct effective regional training & meetings through the development and execution of outstanding group presentation
- Create and deliver information, reports, and presentations as requested by Senior Leadership.
- Provide leadership and active coaching on best practices for Specialties in accordance with Company protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required, Masters degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration
- Extensive knowledge of Specialty dental operations with a minimum of 5 years directly related experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-unit senior leadership role managing and developing others
- Experience introducing Specialty Operations into a market strongly preferred
- Superior skillset in building relationships and guiding/influencing others to gain buy-in to a new initiative
- Ability to create and deliver presentations utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents
- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset that embraces challenges
