We currently have an opening for an Office Manager to assist in opening a brand new practice in East Nashville, TN. This person MUST have 2+ years of experience managing a dental practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue goals by effectively managing patient scheduling, staff productivity, collections, the specialty referral process, expenses, and auxiliary supply purchases
  • Support and partner with the Dentist(s) to lead and develop the staff while developing and maintaining a positive, collaborative environment
  • Complete all administrative responsibilities accurately and timely
  • Deliver superior customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
  • Schedule patient appointments, staff schedules and perform billing and bookkeeping duties
  • Work with insurances and provide financial arrangements for increased case acceptance
  • Maintain a friendly, warm and clean environment for patients and their families
  • Lead, motivate and supervise the team
  • Arrange staff meetings and handle payroll
  • Maintain office flow, punctuality and productivity
  • In conjunction with Regional Director, participates in strategic and operational planning for organization; develops and maintains organizational policies, practices, and procedures; establishes budgetary guidelines and means for staying within specified range; and tracks and develops patient referral systems

Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years’ experience managing a dental practice
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school preferred
  • Strong knowledge base of dental insurance, explanation of benefits, and the verification process
  • Experience with treatment plan presentation and making financial arrangements
  • Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients
  • Experience with Denticon, Dental Vision, EagleSoft, or other dental software strongly preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Dedication to high level customer service and seeking solutions for issues that arise
