General Dentist Locum Tenens Opportunity in Charlottesville, VA
We are seeking a Dentistry (Dentist (DMD/DDS)) for a locum tenens opportunity in Charlottesville, VA. This position allows a dentist to practice comprehensive general dentistry with a supportive clinical team and a steady patient workflow. The ideal candidate is comfortable with surgical extractions, denture steps, crown and bridge, comprehensive treatment planning, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
Dates: June 1-2, 4-5
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8a-5p, Fri 8a-1p
Pay Range: Starting at $125/hour
Clinical Scope
- Surgical extractions, Denture steps, Crown & Bridge, Comprehensive treatment planning, Implant restoration after OS
- Extractions could include simple/ surgical/ full mouth.
Full mouth extractions may be required when clinically appropriate. Discuss any clinical limitations with the Proxi team before the assignment.
Support Staff
- 4 DAs, 1 RDH
Requirements
- Active Virginia dental license
- Active DEA with all schedules
- CSR if required by the state
- Experience in high volume general dentistry environments preferred
