Dentist - Near Eureka California

Schedule & Workload

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Patient Care: 36 hours per week

• Administrative Time: 4 hours per week

• Patient Volume: Average of 16–18 patients per day

  • Minimum of 8–9 patients per 4-hour block

Scope of Practice

• General dentistry, bread-and-butter procedures

• Treat patients of all ages, approximately 50 percent pediatric and 50 percent adult

• Extractions required

Technology

• EMR: EPIC

Licensure & Requirements

• Active California dental license

• DEA and BLS required

• Board certified or board eligible

• Minimum of 3 years of experience

• Comfortable working in a rural health setting

Credentialing

• Estimated timeframe: 3–4 weeks

• Three professional references from the past two years required

• Client conducts background check and NPDB query

• Must be up to date on all immunizations

  • COVID vaccination no longer required

  • Providers not fully immunized must wear a mask during clinic hours

Interview Process

• Name clear and provider presentation submitted

• Review by Medical Director and Site Director

• Zoom interview followed by offer
