Job Description
Locum General Dentist needed in Baraga, MI - IHS - ANY STATE LICENSE!
Selling: Windows face Lake Superior. Great place to be during the summer time!
Credentialing: 30-60 days but can grant temp inside 30 days typically.
Start: March 23
End: September 25
LOA: 6 months - potential option to extend. Ongoing until they find perm. Dental Director is retiring in March. Need someone to replace for seeing patients and interim dental director admin duties.
Work Schedule: M-F 8a- 4:30p, 40 hours per week, 1 day would be allocated to admin/supervisor duties
Patient Volume: Avg. about 6-10 patients per day. Patients can be of all ages, and they do typically get complex cases, but refer out to endo frequently.
Procedures: Needing someone to do crowns, fillings, extractions, and preferred root canals.
EMR: Medi Dent
License: MI prefer, will take any state license.
Staff: 1 Dentist, 2 Dental Assistants, 1 Hygienist, and a DA Admin.
Additional Info:
Ideally hiring for an experienced locum dentist with previous rural and Indian health experience, and willingness to handle complex cases with patients of all ages.
Supervisor or dental director experience is preferred as they are needing the locum to help with this in the interim. The client has had several great experiences with locum providers, and generally have a good team environment that’s welcoming to the locums.
