This established practice in Colonial Heights is looking for a General Dentist to provide 3 months of locum coverage, with the option to extend or transition into a permanent position. You’ll have the opportunity to step into an established practice and hit the ground running with a steady patient flow while working with a supportive team.

📅 Start Date: December 7, 2026

⏳ Assignment: 3 months minimum with option to extend

🔄 Temp-to-Perm: Available for providers interested in a permanent opportunity

🕐 Schedule: Option for part-time or full-time; Monday–Friday | M-TH: 9A-5P, F: 9A-2P

👥 Patient Population: All ages

Position Highlights

• Part-time or full-time schedule option- no weekend requirements
• Established patient base with 15–20+ patients per day
• Clinical variety with bread-and-butter dentistry and opportunities to perform advanced procedures
• Temp-to-perm pathway if you're looking for a long-term home
• Experienced support team to keep the day running smoothly
• Mix of PPO, HMO, Medicaid, and FFS patients w/heavy Medicaid population

What You'll Do

Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including:

• Preventive care and comprehensive exams
• Hygiene required- no hygienist on staff
• Fillings and restorative dentistry
• Crowns and bridges
• Implant restoration
• Simple and surgical extractions
• Dentures
• Treatment planning and patient education
